Alison began her career in public television in Calgary, Alberta. After moving to Victoria and then Vancouver in 2000, she worked in a variety of small organizations, often taking on the role of bookkeeper, as well as her other duties. After going back to school, Alison opened Allegria Business Services Inc. in 2008. Initially her company only serviced Vancouver and the surrounding area, but with the introduction of cloud accounting, she is now able to offer bookkeeping services to clients across Canada. Allegria’s list of clients continues to grow, and Alison has earned a reputation as a cloud accounting specialist and consultant. Alison is a committed environmentalist and human and animal rights advocate. 10% of Allegria’s revenue is allocated to various charitable organizations.
